Prior to starting you'll want to purchase a few items needed for training. You may already have these items in your house. If not, you can easily purchase them at your local sporting goods store, or via our amazon store.

  • large bouncy ball (like a kick ball)

  • racquet ball (minimum 2, two different colors)

  • bean bag(s) (minimum 2, two different colors)

  • balance board (preferably one that allows multiple planes of motion)

  • pendulum tennis ball

  • balance beam

For the balance platform, there are several types that can be used. Here is an example of three of the platforms we recommend:

The far left (blue) balance pad is foam and good for children that have significant balance difficulty and cannot stand on a board very well. The middle board is the next step as it only move in one direction (forward/back or side/side). The hardest platform is the kind on the far right, where it is circular and the child is challenged in all directions.

Choose what is best for your child and increase the challenge by changing platforms.
