Our virtual parent coaching program is specifically designed for families who are willing and motivated to work with their child at home and cannot attend one of our locations. The program allows children to receive cutting edge program treatment in their home, either as a stand-alone treatment or adjunct to regular therapy sessions. Our movement-based sensory treatment with a neurological foundation will improve your child’s development, behavior, and function, communication, and social experiences. The movements are easy to follow and given to you with detailed video instruction. You will also have virtual meetings with your therapist monthly, along with additional questions answered via email. Families must commit to consistently work with their child 3-5x/week for a minimum of 4 months.

In our full program you will receive:

  • Pre-assessment of your child’s brain development
  • Individualized programming for your child with video guides
  • Primitive reflex integration and neurodevelopmental movements
  • Brain hemisphere integration specific to your child
  • Four virtual conversations with the Occupational Therapist to individualize the program for your child, ensure you are completing the exercises correctly and to answer any questions
  • Accountability worksheet to keep you on track with the exercises
  • Weekly email communication with the Occupational Therapist
  • Post-assessment at 16 weeks

If you are ready to see results with your child and ready to commit to helping your child, please contact us today to get started!

** We also offer a Quick Start Program with all the benefits from above; excluding the pre-/post-assessment & brain hemispheric integration. This short program is perfect for those that have a strong understanding of movement and how to individualize the program for their child, and whose child has had a recent evaluation.

Q: How much time do I have to commit to doing the treatment with my child?

A: You must be willing to commit 3-5 days per week, for 30-60 minutes depending on your preference. These sessions may be split up throughout the day. Also, allow 60 minutes once/month to speak with the therapist.

Q: Do I need any special equipment?

A: Only if desired. For the majority of movements, we provide you with a list of preferred items but we are creative and can give you alternative items to use that you can find around the house.

Q: How long is the treatment?

A: At-home treatment sessions are 16 weeks. For each treatment session you will receive specific movement exercises.  A 16-week session will result in observable and objective positive changes in your child’s development, behavior, function, communication, and social experiences. Additional sessions may be needed depending on your child’s current abilities.

Q: Will we achieve the same results as we would in the clinic setting?

A: YES! But this will only happen if you commit to doing the prescribed amount of treatment weekly. The monthly conversations with your therapist are meant as a way to keep you on track and accountable to treatment. We want to help every child succeed.

Q: Do you offer a consultation to see if this is the right fit for my child?

A: Yes! We offer a free 30 minute phone/virtual consultation to discuss your child and their needs. Contact us to schedule your call.

Q: Who would benefit from this program?

A: Children who would benefit from our program include, but are not limited to, children with developmental delays, trouble learning, hyperactivity, decreased communication, impaired gross/fine motor skills, difficulty with attention/focus, and children diagnosed with varying neurological conditions (autism, adhd, down’s syndrome, etc). Your child does not have to have a specific diagnosis to benefit from treatment. Even adults see decreased anxiety, depression, and stress utilizing our brain-movement techniques. Please contact us today for a free consultation to see if this is the right fit for your child’s needs.

Q: How does Brain Connex Therapy differ from other similar neurological programs?

A: The biggest difference you will see in our program is that it can be individualized for your child by professional Occupational Therapists that understand childhood development and the neurological system. We pride ourselves on being the only neurological program available whose providers are licensed Occupational Therapists rather than individuals with no therapy background.

Q: What does the initial evaluation look like?

A: You will submit video recordings of your child performing specific tasks (ie, running, crawling, jumping, etc). You will also need to fill out paperwork about your child’s strengths and weaknesses. Information should be submitted within 72 hours and the therapist will assess and create an individualized program. A phone/virtual meeting will occur within 48-72 hours of receiving the evaluation information and the therapist will provide you a specific treatment program for your child.  Your treatment begins on the day you are educated on your child’s program by the therapist.

Q: What is the cost?

A: Our virtual program is over 50% off our clinic program. We have two separate options for virtual treatment depending on your child’s needs and available resources.

Q: Can I use my insurance?

A: Our parent coaching program is typically not covered by insurance. We are a cash-pay service and payment is due prior to service and is not contingent upon insurance reimbursement. We are able to provide a superbill for possible reimbursement for tele-health Occupational Therapy services. You may also want to investigate whether HSA dollars can be used for payment.

*AZ residents can use ESA funds*

Q: How do you accept payment?

A: We accept payment through a secure online link. Payment for each four month session is due prior to service.

Q: What if we cannot commit to the full Parent Coaching Program?

A: No problem! We offer two pre-made movement learning programs for purchase. They both provide written and video instruction on the movements and their benefits. The downside is that there is no instruction from a professional and the program is not individualized to your child. Many parents find that they prefer having a professional to speak with about their specific situation.

Q: How do we get started?

A: Contact us today or call 480-235-1927. You will receive a response within 24 or less.

Q: Do you offer in-person visits?

A: Currently we only offer in-person evaluation/assessment sessions in the areas of Northern Arizona and the Valley. Pricing depends on distance. Please contact us for further details.
